To improve public radio station KUTE-FM, 90.1 MHz in Ignacio, CO. by replacing the outdated and unreliable transmit and receive capabilities of the Durango translator on Smelter Mountain, relayed from Rattlesnake Ridge, with two STL transmitters and receivers The project also proposes to replace the remote control unit for KUTE's 90.1 transmitter on Missionary Ridge. Replacement studio equipment requested includes an audio processor, 4 CD players, 6 DAT machines, a hard disc system, and related cables and connectors. The station serves approximately 203,000 people in the Four Corners area.
