For FY 2001, the application requests $1,102,540 to purchase an antenna, transmission line, and tower work for WHRM-TV, Ch. 20, Wausau; an antenna, transmission line, tower strengthening, and a channel combiner for WPNE-TV, Ch. 38, Green Bay; an antenna, transmission line, channel combiner, and tower strengthening for WHLA-TV, Ch. 31, LaCrosse; an antenna, transmission line, channel combiner, tower strengthening, and tower lights for WHWC-TV, Ch. 28, Menomonie/Eau Claire; and an antenna, transmission line, tower strengthening, and tower lights for WLEF-TV, Ch. 36, Park Falls. For FY 2002, the application requests $1,338,106 to purchase a DTV transmitter, dual exciter, bandpass filter, remote control, power protection, and test equipment for each of the stations. The ECB stations serve a population of about 2,300,000.
