To improve the transmission facilities of public television station WMSY-TV, Channel 52 in Marion, VA by replacing a 20-year-old transmission system and to improve the transmission facilities of public television station WSBN-TV, Channel 47 in Norton, VA by replacing a 30-year-old transmission system. The Blue Ridge Public Television Network serves a population of more than 2 million people in Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia and North Carolina.
