For FY 2001, the applicant requests $1,018,380 for KFME, Fargo for dissemination equipment, including tower modifications, an antenna, and decoder; for origination equipment including encoder an demod; and test equipment. For FY 2002, the applicant requests $1,047,825 for additional origination equipment at Fargo; interconnection equipment at GrandForks to serve the Crookston site; and a tower, antenna, decoder, receiver and related equipment at the Crookston transmitter site in Euclid. Prairie Public Broadcasting serves about 466,000 people in North Dakota and Minnesota.
