For FY 2001, the application requests $1,335,462 to purchase a DTV transmitter with dual exciter, transmission line, tower, ATSC receiver, antennas, ATSC decoders, and test equipment for WSEC, Springfield; plus studio-transmitter links, contribution encoders, SDTV encoder, multiplexer terminals, video codex modules, and a satellite receiver and antenna for CONVOCOM master control and the system. For FY 2002, the application requests $1,326,657 to purchase a multi-channel PSIP generator for master control plus studio-transmitter link for WSEC, microwave link equipment; and a DTV transmitter with dual exciter, contribution encoder, combiner, ATSC receiver. and studio-transmitter link for WQEC, Quincy; and SDTV encoder, multiplexer terminal, and video codec. For FY 2003, the application requests $226,928 to purchase an HD master control processor plus additional microwave equipment. The CONVOCOM stations serve a population of about 459,000.
