For FY 2002, the application requests $515,338 to purchase a DTV transmitter, an RF system, an ATSC demod, an encoder/mux, a PSIP generator, and diverse test and monitoring equipment. For FY 2003, the application requests $350,000 to purchase video and audio processors, an automation upgrade, VTRs, an ATSC encoder, and an HD still store. Station WVIZ-TV's signal reaches a viewing audience of approximately 3.7 million.
