Radio Kansas plans to upgrade our news production studio suite. The current studio is based on 20+ year old technology and is nearly unusable. By upgrading the studio to digital technology it will once again provide reliable capacity for our programming staff for their daily news needs. It will also give us, for the first time, a dedicated location for producing twice annual on-air fundraising drives without the need to completely disrupt our technical operations. In addition, we propose to provide back-up power at two very remote microwave locations. These are our only two site without back-up power, and they control two or our three network stations.
