Penn State Public Broadcasting’s WPSU-FM delivers a combination of locally and nationally produced public programming, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Given the rural make-up of our coverage area, our locally produced programs work to connect and speak to the communities we serve, transcending geographic isolation in favor of geographic localism. With this proposal, WPSU-FM seeks funds to activate a new translator that will extend 24-7 service into an underserved area of rural, central Pennsylvania. This request meets Priority 1B requirements.
