WHRO purchased and installed digital television equipment in 2002, all purchased with local funds. Having operated the on-air digital television channel 16 for approximately three years, we now desire to add digital systems to increase HD & SD Server capacity to complement the capacity to ingest and distribute HD program material. Included is HD signal management components to fully utilize the power of the HD broadcast infrastructure and also the purchase of additional UPS capacity to protect electrical power supply quality and capacity to run the digital equipment systems.
