PTFP awards for all applications received by the February 4 and 26, 2010, deadlines will be announced in September 2010.

On March 19, 2010, PTFP Published in the Federal Register a notice of an extended closing date to accept applications until 5 p.m., EDT, April 22, 2010, as a result of the FCC’s January 2010 announcement concerning digital IBOC power levels. PTFP will accept applications for the following digital radio projects to 1) amend PTFP Application filed in February 2010 so a station can now request higher power transmission equipment in accordance with the announcement; and 2) new applications for digital power increase projects so a station may support an additional program service (HD Channel) by multicasting. Complete details can be found in the Federal Register of March 19, 2010. Applications received by the April 22, 2010, deadline will be posted after that time.
