The Richmond County Enrichment Corp. (non-profit organization) will develop a countywide, employment and vocational service that will include online access to employment opportunities throughout the county in community centers. This will establish assistance to low-income families and seniors, and those seeking employment throughout the county. With this database link we will collect information throughout the state of North Carolina of employment opportunities and provide ongoing searches for weekend usage. This program will have listing from every major newspaper in the state. Anticipated impact of this program is measures by the drop in unemployment in this county. We have six major sites planned in the following community centers: Ashley Chapel, Beaver Dam, Long Drive, East Rockingham, Fallen Creek, Gore Drive, Dobbins Heights, communities, with projections of additional sites in the towns of Ellerbe, Hamlet, Hoffman. Seven primary sites have been selected because of they are, low-income. So our brainchild is to provide assistance in Internet and videotape technology. This technology will introduce and explore how to use the computer correctly. Job searching techniques will be addressed, video taping of how to dress for interviews, the, proper way to filling out and application and the materials needed to bring to the prospective employer.

Civic Groups Civic Groups based in the target area or interested in the issued addressed in the neighborhood are potentially important participants. The NAACP County Branch Richmond, Richmond County Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of Richmond County, and Richmond County Community Support Group, are some of the affiliates. Private Organizations, Local Corporation or small business might work as a partner in the efforts by adopting policies that increase its potential for education.
