The City of Phoenix's "electronic bus" will extend city and community based services and information to area residents, using multipurpose workstations at existing city facilities and dial-in capabilities from the home or office. Plans are for a single user interface and point of access to a wide range of services; utilization of existing facilities and trained staff; information partnerships with other community organizations; and introduction of several emerging technologies, including a workstation for disabled citizens that is compatible with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
